As of January 1, 2024, all our invoices will have the GST component, as we are officially GST registered.

In QuickBooks, all invoices MUST reflect the GST amount. You may refer to the sample invoice below.
*all products to include 9% GST in the invoice
This is because when submitting taxes, Finance will take the automatically system calculated value of GST to submit.
In some instances, the customer will request to have their quotation to have the amount before GST and the amount after 9% GST.
Please refer to the below to properly calculate GST in quotation.
Sample quotation:
Example Item 1:
Unit price after 9% GST for Notebook is $9.3304/pc
To find out the product price without GST, we need to divide by 1.09
- Amount before GST = $9.3304 / 1.09 = $8.56/pc x 100
- GST = $9.3304 - $8.56 = $0.7704/pc
- Total GST = $77.04
Example Item 2:
Unit price after 9% GST for Pen is $5.0467/pc.
To find out the product price without GST, we need to divide by 1.09
- Amount before GST = $5.0467 / 1.09 = $4.63/pc x 100
- GST = $5.0467 - $4.63 = $0.4167/pc
- Total GST = $41.67
Total GST for both items: $118.71
Sub Total Amount: $1,319 (amount before GST) + $118.71 (GST)
Total Amount: $1,437.71
